A rich and fluffy dessert made with whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla, and Nutella. Perfect for layering in cups or serving as a mousse-style treat!
Ingredients
- Whipping Cream – 463 g
- Cold Whipping Cream – 463 g
- Sugar – 92 g
- Vanilla Pod – 2 g
- Mascarpone Cheese – 92 g
- Nutella – as desired (for flavor & layering)
Total weight: ~1112 g (before adding Nutella)
Method
- Whip the cream: In a chilled bowl, whip both the whipping cream and cold whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- Add sugar & vanilla: Gradually add sugar and scrape seeds from the vanilla pod. Whip until medium peaks.
- Fold in mascarpone: Gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add Nutella: Warm Nutella slightly so it spreads easily. Swirl or fold into the cream mixture as per preference (either fully mixed for chocolate mousse or layered for a marbled effect).
- Chill & serve: Transfer to dessert cups, jars, or bowls. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Pro Tips
- Use very cold cream for best whipping results.
- If you prefer sweeter, add extra Nutella instead of more sugar.
- Top with crushed biscuits, nuts, or cocoa powder before serving.
