A classic Italian tiramisu made with rich mascarpone cream, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and dusted with cocoa powder. Creamy, indulgent, and irresistible!
Tiramisu Cream Mix
- Cream – 480 ml
- Mascarpone – 452 g
- Egg yolk – 150 g
- Sugar – 133 g
- Vanilla – 5 g
Total: Rich mascarpone cream filling
Other Ingredients
- Espresso or strong coffee – 300 ml (cooled)
- Ladyfinger biscuits (Savoiardi) – ~200 g
- Cocoa powder – for dusting
- Optional: Coffee liqueur (Kahlúa or Marsala) – 2–3 tbsp
Method
- Prepare coffee: Brew espresso or strong coffee, stir in liqueur if using, and let cool.
- Whip cream: In a bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Mascarpone mix: Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and thick. Add vanilla and mascarpone, whisk until smooth.
- Combine: Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture to make a light mousse.
- Layer: Quickly dip ladyfingers into coffee (don’t soak), and arrange in a single layer in your dish.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the biscuits. Repeat with another coffee-dipped layer and remaining cream.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours (best overnight) to set.
- Finish: Dust generously with cocoa powder before serving. Slice and enjoy!
