Introduction
Chocolate mousse is a simple yet elegant dessert made with just a few ingredients. Light, fluffy, and rich in chocolate flavor, it’s perfect for dinner parties or when you’re craving something special.
Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa, chopped)
- 3 large eggs (separated)
- 50 g sugar
- 250 ml heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt chocolate gently over a double boiler; let cool slightly.
- Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat to stiff peaks.
- In another bowl, whip cream with vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Whisk egg yolks into cooled melted chocolate.
- Fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture, then gently fold in beaten egg whites.
- Spoon into serving glasses and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
