Alfredo pasta is a classic Italian comfort food with a creamy, cheesy sauce that melts in your mouth. This simple recipe is perfect for a quick dinner in under 30 minutes.

- Fettuccine pasta: 250 g
- Butter: 2 tbsp
- Heavy cream: 1 cup
- Grated parmesan cheese: 1 cup
- Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
- Salt and pepper: to taste
- Fresh parsley: for garnish

Method
- Cook Pasta: Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
- Make the Sauce Base: In a large pan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
- Add Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until it slightly thickens.
- Add Cheese: Reduce the heat to low. Gradually add the grated parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon or two of the reserved pasta water.
- Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce. Toss the pasta gently to coat it completely. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Divide the pasta among serving plates. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving hot.
