- Yields: 9-12 brownies

Method
- Preheat Oven & Prep Pan: Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 8x8 inch square baking pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Using a spatula, stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies tough.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with the spatula. Bake for 25–30 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, not liquid batter.
- Cool & Cut: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15-20 minutes before cutting them into squares. This is crucial for achieving that signature fudgy texture.
