Greek salad is a refreshing and healthy Mediterranean dish, made with crisp fresh veggies, tangy olives, and salty feta cheese. A perfect light meal or vibrant side dish!
Ingredients
- Cucumbers: 2 (chopped)
- Tomatoes: 2 (chopped)
- Red onion: 1 (thinly sliced)
- Kalamata olives: ½ cup
- Feta cheese: 100 g (cubed or crumbled)
- Olive oil: 2 tbsp (extra virgin preferred)
- Dried oregano: 1 tsp
- Salt and pepper: to taste

Method
- Prepare Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cucumbers, chopped tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, and kalamata olives.
- Dress the Salad: Drizzle the olive oil generously over the vegetables. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Toss Gently: Gently toss all the ingredients together until everything is well coated with the dressing and spices. Be careful not to mash the vegetables.
- Add Feta & Serve: Just before serving, gently fold in the cubed or crumbled feta cheese. Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish or a light meal.
