Classic Pasta Carbonara

Introduction
Pasta Carbonara is a rich and creamy Italian dish made with eggs, parmesan cheese, crispy bacon, and spaghetti. A quick and comforting meal!
Ingredients
- 200 g spaghetti
- 100 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 2 cloves garlic (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
- Fry bacon in olive oil until crispy; remove from pan.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs with parmesan and pepper.
- Drain pasta (reserve some water), then add to pan with bacon.
- Remove from heat, stir in egg mixture quickly to create creamy sauce.
- Add reserved pasta water if needed, then serve hot.
